Funeral services for Mrs. Elvina G. Rider, 78, who died at her home at 220 ½ 
West Washington street Wednesday evening, were held Saturday, May 31, at 2 p.m. 
at the Myers funeral home by the Rev. Luther Martin of Grand Rapids.  Bearers 
were Julius Truesdell, Harold Truesdell, Morris Rider and Lester Rider.  Burial 
was in Highland Park cemetery.

Attending the services from away were Mr. and Mrs. Harold Truesdell of Battle 
Creek; Mr. and Mrs. Rudy Hearn and Mr. and Mrs. Ben DeHart of Lowell; Lester 
Rider, Elva Randall, Mr. and Mrs. George Savage and Mrs. Rose Randall of 
Lansing; Mr. and Mrs. Morris Rider of Crystal; Mrs. Herbert Luditke and Mr. and 
Mrs. William Rider of Flint; Mrs. Helen Brainard and Mrs. Clare Carter of Royal 
Oak; Mrs. Lyle Jones and Floyd Mead of Grand Rapids, Edwin Truesdell and 
Ethridge Truesdell of Muir.
