EDITH T. RIEGER
SARANAC - Edith T. Rieger, 81, of 203 Parsonage Street, Saranac died Monday at her 
resident.

She was born December 14, 1909, in Carson City, the daughter of Victor and Ada 
Eckelberry North.

She married Roy Bailey on January 22, 1927. He preceded her in death, in 1968. She
later married Ernest Rieger. He preceded her in death in 1981.

She was a member of Temple Baptist Church of Ionia.

She is survived by four daughters; Beverly Yourgevidge of Newaygo, Arlene Bookie of
Ionia, Averill Kitchen of Orleans and Laura Milton  of Duran; her brother, Lyle North, 16 
grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m Friday at Temple Baptist Church, Ionia, with the
Rev. Jim Houseman and the Rev. Marvis Hale officiating.

Burial will be in Easton Cemetery.

The family will be at the Lake funeral home of Saranac from 2-4 and 7-8:30 p.m. 
Wednesday and from 7-8:30 p.m. Thursday.

A memorial ha been established  for the Temple Baptist Church, in care of the
funeral home.
