Sentinel-Standard - Friday, May 3, 1957

Funeral services were conducted for Walter Rieger, Jr. Thursday afternoon at 1 
o'clock at the Phelps funeral chapel with the Rev. Floyd Emshwiller, pastor of 
the First Christian church officiating. Mr. Rieger, 29, died in Tampa, Fla. 
Sunday.

Interment was in Balcom cemetery. Bearers were Keith VanHouten, Royal Dye, L. 
Dean Joslyn, Herman Kamradt, Harry Rowley and James Owens.

Attending from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. Jack Rieger of Saginaw, Mrs. 
Elizabeth Cook of Lansing, Mrs. Dave Rogers and Mrs. Milo Peterson of 
Greenville, Mrs. Milo Peterson of Greenville, Mrs. Alma Adams of Muir, Miss 
Elizabeth McChristie of Santa Barbara, Calif, and Mrs. Elizabeth McChristie of 
New York.
