Ionia Sentinel-Standard
The death of Mrs. Almeada Rier, 67, occurred Friday September 4 at 5:30 at the 
home of her daughter, Mrs. Lester Badder and her sons, Floyd and Lester Rier in 
Orleans township, after an illness of three months.  Mrs. Rier was born January 
3, 1869 in Ionia county the daugher of Mr and Mrs John Hodge.  Her youth was 
spent in Easton township.  She married John Rier on February 23, 1884.  In 1915 
they moved to Ronald township where she lived until two years ago when she moved 
to Orleans township.

She leaves five shildren, Fred of Rockford, Milo of Bellaire, Floyd, Lester and 
Mrs Lester Badder of Orleans township and seven grandchildren.  The funeral 
services will be held at the Fay J. Hall funeral home Monday at 1:30 o’clock and 
the Easton church at 2 o’clock.  Interment will be at the Easton cemetery.
