Ionia Sentinel-Standard - Tues. Nov. 28, 1967


Rev. Robert Wright of First Christian church in Muir officiated at the funeral 
services Monday for Clinton Ries who died last Wednesday. Interment was in 
Balcom cemetery.

Bearers were Clinton Sprague Sr., Gerald Robinson, George Mitchell, Russell 
McKellips, Timothy and James Feehan.

Ionia Loyal Order of Moose and Women of the Moose attended in groups.

Attending from out of town were Mrs. Boyd Hutchison, Mr. and Mrs. Clair Shipman 
and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Hutchison of Fayette, Ohio, Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Clark 
of Toledo, Ohio; Mr. and Mrs. Paul Ries, Leland Ries, Mrs. Silas Ries and Mrs. 
Robert Novack of Lansing, Mrs. Gordon Boose and Mrs. Geraldine Hall of Detroit, 
Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Ries and Mr. and Mrs. Manley Parsons and son Randy of Grand 
Ledge; Richard Diehm, Mrs. Claude Simmons, Mrs. Joseph Neuman, Mr. and Mrs. 
Henry Holkstra and Mr. and Mrs. John Simmons of Grand Rapids; Mr. and Mrs. 
LaVere Ries of Howell; Mr. and Mrs. Gary Sprank and daughters of Hastings; Mr. 
and Mrs. Hubert Ries of Sheridan; Otis Ries, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Sprank and 
Mrs. Donald Hanline and daughter of Muir; Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Simmons of Belding,
