Sentinel-Standard - Wednesday, Sept. 17, 1930

Mrs. Laura Ries, 72, 616 East Lincoln avenue, sick since New Year's day, died at 
her home Wednesday morning at 5:20. She was a native of Ohio, but had lived for 
many years in Ionia tow work in the car shops.

Surviving are the husband, sons, Harvey, William, Clinton, Otis, Bert, of Ionia: 
Herman of Toledo, O. and Silas, of Lansing; daughters, Mrs. Lottie Folks, of 
Detroit and Mrs. Boyd Hutchinson, of Pioneer, O.; 21 grandchildren, two great-
grandchildren.

The funeral services will be conducted from the home Friday at 2 o'clock, and 
from the Church of Christ at 2:30. The interment will be made in the Highland 
Park cemetery. Rev. Paul L. Steward assisted by Rev. F. J. Fitch will have 
charge of the services.
