Sentinel-Std. - Wednesday, July 28, 1954

Bert Ries, 69, of Saginaw street, west of Lansing, died suddenly Tuesday 
afternoon at his home.

He was born in Ohio and lived several years in Ionia.

He is survived by his wife, Viola; one son, Ernest, of Grand Ledge; five 
grandchildren; four brothers, Herman of Toledo, Clinton of Ionia, Otis of Muir, 
Silas of Lansing; and one sister, Mrs. May Hutchinson, of Fayette, Ohio.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete.
