Mr. Rigdon was born September 9, 1918 in Ripley County Missouri and served in the US Army Corp of Engineers during World War II. He was a retired sewing machine mechanic at the Chrysler Lyons Trim Plant. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Mr. Rigdon married Irene Adams June 24, 1941 in Doniphan, MO, she survives. He is also survived by one son, Woodrow Wilson Rigdon Jr. and wife Joyce of Lonoke, AR; four daughters, Pamela Ann Coble of Fairdealing, Patsy Ruth Miller and husband Richard of Caulfield, MO, Paula Jean Neal of Fairdealing, and Penny Kay Jenkins and husband Ray Sells of Doniphan and a niece loved as a daughter, Lynna Gail Seabrook of Ionia; a sister Lydia O’Dell of Higginsville, MO. In addition he is survived by grandchildren Shawn, Kelly and Shannon Sible, Eric Miller and Ricky Jean Johnston, Robin Kay Jenkins, and Woodrow Wilson III (Trae), Trenton, and Tanner Rigdon; great-grandchildren, Glen and Casey Sible, Jeremie, Mandi and Bailee Johnston. No services are planned at this time. Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home of Neelyville, MO was in charge of arrangements.
