The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Friday, September 22, 1961

Funeral service for Myron L. Riggs, 80, retired Saranac farmer who died Monday 
at Ionia County Memorial hospital, was held Thursday afternoon at Berlin 
Center church with the Rev. Donald T. Meikle officiating.

Bearers were James Lanz, Richard Riggs, Gordon Gilbert, Gerald Gilbert, Bill 
Lanz and Bill Clark.  Burial was at Balcom cemetery.
