Ionia Sentinel Standard, 28 Sep 1963

Frank A. Riker, 55, rural Portland resident, died Friday following a heart 
attack at Holland.  He was employed with the Chicago-Duluth Georgian Bay Lines.

He was born in Orange township, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Riker, Sr.  A 
veteran of World War II, he served as a sergeant in United States Air Force in 
the Pacific.

Surviving are four sisters, Mrs. Agatha Ragan of Lansing, Mrs. Bessie McGee and 
Mrs. Florence Greene of Portland and Mrs. Thelma Daugherty of Kalamazoo; two 
brothers, Stanley Riker of Jackson and Cecil of Wolverine.

Funeral service will be conducted at Neller funeral home Monday at 2 p.m.  The 
Rev. Robert Treat will officiate and burial will be at Lyons cemetery.  
Veterans of Foreign Wars 4090 of Portland will have charge of the military 
services.
