The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Monday, May 18, 1970
A lifelong Portland resident, Harry W. Riker, 88, died Saturday at Ionia 
Manor.  He was born May 21, 1881 in Orange township.  Surviving are two sons, 
Leo W. Riker of Hermiston, Oregon, Robert Riker of Ionia, three daughters, 
Mrs. Loreita McCollor and Mrs. Marian Fish both of Portland and Mrs. Frances 
Cotton of Deadwood, South Dakota; 18 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren; 
three brothers, Lee and Charles Riker both of California and George Riker of 
Muir; sister, Mrs. Kittie Miller of Ypsilanti.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Neller funeral home in Portland, 
Rev. Maurice Christenson of Portland Baptist church will officiate and 
interment will be at Tuttle cemetery.  Bearers will be Larry and Terry Cotton, 
James Fish, Robert and Michael McCollor, and Billy Hill.
