The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Wednesday, February 15, 1939
Mrs. LeRoy D. Riker, 81, died at her home in Muir late Tuesday afternoon 
February 14 after an illness of some time.  She would have celebrated her 82nd 
birthday February 25 of this year.

Surviving beside the husband are seven sons, Fred Riker of British Columbia, 
Canada, Leon Riker of California, Charles Riker of Oregon, Lee Riker of 
California, Harry Riker of Ionia, Samuel Riker of Lyons and George Riker of 
Muir; a daughter, Mrs. Kitty Smith of Detroit; a brother, James Campbell of 
Lowell; 19 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.  Mr. and Mrs. Riker 
celebrated their 64th wedding anniversary in October 1938.

Funeral services will be conducted from the Muir Presbyterian church by the 
Rev. Paul L. Stewart Friday afternoon, February 17, at 2 o’clock.  Interment 
will be made in the Tuttle cemetery.
