GORDON RINCKEY
Died Friday February 12, 2021-age 83
Born November 9, 1937, the son of Vern Rinckey & Mildred Watrous.
Graduated Carson City Highs School in class of 1956.
Was inducted to the Carson City Athletic Hall of fame.
Married Shirley DePue on September 16, 1959 & had 61 years together.
Graduated Univ. of Michigan (baseball scholarship) as a Marine Biologist & 
worked in Florida before returning home to help on the family farm due to his 
father's failing health.
He was a faithful servant of his God Jehovah & a long-time member of the 
Greenville Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.
Dick is survived by his wife, Shirley; sons, Alex (Teresa ) Rinckey & Victor 
(Shirley K) Rinckey; daughter, Audra (Barry) Wood; grandson, Jesse (Mikayl) 
Wood; granddaughter, Alissa (Roy) Wasilco; sisters, Ruth (Dave) Perkins, & 
Beverly Rinckey & many special nieces & nephews.
Was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Ken.
Memorial service forthcoming in Gordon's honor.
