Stephen Rine Dies At M.L. Howard Home

Lived with Nephew Ten Years.  Ill Several Months.  Funeral Sunday Afternoon.

After several months of illness Stephen Rine passed away early Thursday 
morning.  Mr. Rine never married and has made his home with his nephew for the 
past ten years.

He was an industrious, frugal man assisting with the chores as long as he was 
able.  He felt comfortable and happy in the Howard home where he has been since 
the death of Mr. Howard’s father Atty. W. H. Howard.  The Howards have taken 
good care of him when care was needed.

Mr. Rine was 69 years of age, his former home was in Ohio.  He was born 
February 17, 1861.

The funeral was held at the home Sunday afternoon, Rev. Wolverton preached and 
burial was at Lake Side cemetery.
