The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Saturday, December 16, 1967
A Belding resident, Mrs. Axa M. Ring, 62, died Friday at Belding community 
hospital following a lengthy illness.  She was born May 19, 1905 in Cedar Lake 
and resided at 617 South Alderman, Belding.  October 18, 1923 she was married 
in Edmore to Erval R. Ring who survives.  She was a member of Faith Tabernacle 
church of Greenville.  

Besides her husband she leaves four daughters, Mrs. Harold Hubbard of Six 
Lakes, Mrs. John Jones of Belding, Mrs. James Nash of Belding and Mrs. Carroll 
Benoite of Lyons; one stepdaughter Mrs. Francis Barnes of Belding; five sons 
Donald of Smyrna, Ralph of Belding, Charles of Orleans, Richard of Belding, 
Arthur of Lake Odessa; one stepson, Virgil of Charlotte; 39 grandchildren and 
14 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Huffman funeral home in Belding 
with Rev. Sylvester Sowers of Muskegon officiating.  Burial will be in Rest 
Haven Memory Gardens in Ionia County.
