PHILLIS MARIE AUSTIN-RIOS

GILBERT, AZ.- Phyllis Marie Rios, formerly of Ionia, passed away in Arizona on 
December 15th. She was surrounded by family as she went to be with the 
Lord.Phyllis was born on July 6th 1956 and lived most of her life in Ionia, 
Michigan. Phyllis had many friends a d relatives.She worked many years at 
Meijers as a bakery clerk. Prior to that she operated a licensed daycare in her 
home and later she worked at Electrolux.

Phyllis and her immediate family moved to Arizona in 2003 to be closer to 
family. She enjoyed the warmer weather very much. She enjoyed going to concerts 
and shows. She loved to go to Las Vegas, Nevada. Her bucket list included going 
to a concert to see Frankie Valle. She fulfilled that wish in 2019 and was on 
cloud nine.

Phyllis is survived by her husband Abel Rios of Gilbert, Arizona; son Anthony 
John Rios of Gilbert, Arizona. Sister, (Evelyn) Jane Austin-Barnes from 
Gilbert,Arizona and brother Dennis Austin from Gilbert, Arizona.

Phyllis is preceded in death by her father Robert Earl Austin, mother Elsie 
Naomi Austin; brother Robert James Austin and one daughter Kendra Magee.
