The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Saturday, March 21, 1942

John B. Risch, 82, died Friday night at the University of Michigan hospital in 
Ann Arbor.  Born December 19, 1861, in Luxemburg, he has lived in Ionia for 
about 35 years.  He was employed by the Pere Marquette railroad shops for 
twenty years and had made his home at 217 Dye street for the past twenty years.

Surviving are the wife and one daughter, Leona, at home.  A son, Albert, lives 
in Luxemburg.

The funeral Mass will be held Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. at SS. Peter and Paul 
church.  Rev. Fr. John S. Fons will officiate and interment will be at Mt. 
Olivet cemetery.
