He was born on March 17, 1997. Nick was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pewamo, and was currently a sophomore at P-W High School. He loved working at Cook Dairy Farm in Pewamo, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, video games, movies, and loving his dogs. Nick had a wonderful sense of humor, was selfless, and enjoyed being with his family. Preceding him in death were his grandfather, Norman Cook; aunts, Christine Thelen and Barbara Davis. Surviving are his parents, Alan and Kathy Risher; sister and best friend, Alexandra Risher; grandparents, Blanche Cook, and Jerry and Sandie Risher; several aunts and uncles. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Monday, March 3, 2014 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Westphalia, with Rev. Mathias Thelen, Rev. Charlon O. Mason, and Rev. Larry King con-celebrating. Rite of Committal will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Pewamo. The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Saturday, and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at St. Mary's Funeral Chapel, 210 N. Westphalia Street, Westphalia. A Rosary will be prayed at 3 p.m. Sunday, and a Scriptural Wake Service will be held at 8 p.m. Sunday. Arrangements are entrusted to Lehman Funeral Homes, Portland.
