Ionia Sentinel-Standard - Mon. Feb. 28, 1972

Funeral services for Andrew Risser, Ionia business man who died early Saturday 
morning will be Tuesday at 2 pm at First Christian church, Rev. Theodore Forbes 
will officiate and interment will be at Balcom cemetery.

Surviving are his wife, Dorothy; two daughters, Mrs. Shirley Spencer of St. 
Johns and Mrs. Marcia Bolo of Florida; eight grandchildren sister, Mrs. Mary 
Emelander of Lake Odessa.

He was a member of the Fishing and hunting club and was a past president, and 
Lions club from which he recently received an award. He belonged to the Kiwanis 
club, Moose and Elks lodges, Knights Templar, Masonic lodge and Shriners. He 
had also worked many years with the Alcoholics anonymous organization. 

Masonic services will be conducted Monday evening at 7:30 p.m. at Myers-Roetman 
funeral home.

Family will meet in the church basement prior to funeral services.

A memorial has been established for the American Cancer fund.
