March 4, 1992 MUIR- Cruea E. Ritchey, 82, formerly of Saranac died Monday at the Masonic Home in Alma. She was born January 30, 1910, in Ladysmith, Wisconsin, the daughter of Clarence and Blanche Plummer Wilber. She attended Ionia High School. She married Theron Ritchey in March of 1928, in Ionia. She retired from American Auto Felt of Lyons in 1960. She was a member of the Lyons Order of Eastern Star, (OES) Chapter 334, Golden Years Senior Citizens of Muir, and the Lyons United Methodist Church and its Women's Fellowship. She is survived by her husband; four daughters; Norma Woodbury of Fruitland Park, Florida, Marilyn Townsend of Muir, and Wanda Eckley and Pat Linderman of Ionia; 18 grandchildren; three step grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; seven step great grandchildren; one great great grand-daughter; and her sister Delores Hyland of Portland. Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Thursday at the Lyons United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Scott Otis officiating. Burial will be in the Sunset Memorial Gardens, Ionia. An OES service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Hull Memorial Chapel, Muir. A memorial has been established for a new Masonic Home in Alma, in care of the funeral home.
