Jewell Ritenburg, age 83, of Ionia, passed away May 19, 2014 in Ionia.  She was 
born September 15, 1930 in Lima, Ohio the daughter of Randolph and Betty (Mann) 
Patrick.  Jewell married Thomas Ritenburg November 24, 1954 in Ionia.  She 
loved to cook and bake and adored her family. 

Jewell is survived by her loving husband of 59 years Thomas of Ionia; 
daughters, Kathy (Steve) Waldron of Saranac, Vicky (Paul) Manley of Lowell, 
Peggy (Nathan) Swift of Lowell and Judy (Al) Pruitt of Jenison; brothers, 
Donald (Barb) Patrick of Ionia and Lawrence (Shirley) Patrick of Clarksville; 
sisters, Dorothy Risner of Alto, Delores (Denny) Spitzley of Ionia, Shelva 
Smith of Greenville and Joann Irwin of Ionia, 10 grandchildren and 4 great 
grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 21, at Lake Funeral Home of Ionia.  
Interment Balcom Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be 
made to Ionia area Hospice.
