Burial was at National Cemetery in Fort Leavenworth with military honors. He served both World War I and II. He was born in Ionia September 12, 1891, the son of Mr.and Mrs.Alva Ritenburgh. he enlisted in the Army in Detroit, March 14, 1929 and was discharged in Fort Leavenworth as a Corporal in Military Police May 17, 1949. He is survived by his wife, Mrs.Margaret L. Ritenburgh, also a daughter,Mrs.Darlene Svatek of Kansas City, MO., and six grandchildren. Additional Comments: National Cem., Ft.
