The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Friday, December 28, 1945


James Ritenburg, 73, died at his home in Pewamo, Thursday morning after a 
short illness.  He is survived by his wife, Lucinda; three sons, Seymour, Erlo 
and Oscar; a daughter, Mrs. Altha Mitchell of Grand Rapids; two brothers, 
Edward of Lyons and Charles of Ionia.

He was born in Canada but spent most of his life here.

The body is at the Shaw-Rivett funeral home in Muir and services will be 
Sunday at 2:30 from the Pewamo Methodist church with the Rev. Jacobs 
officiating.  Interment will be at the Pewamo cemetery.  The body will be 
brought to the church one hour before the services.
