Portland Observer – Wednesday, 26 December 1894
D. L. Rittenburg, one of the oldest residents of Orange township, and well 
known to many of the older readers of the Observer, died at his home in Orange 
on Thursday last aged 83 years.  He was the father of V. Rittenburg of this 
village.
