Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard – Thursday, 2 January 1930

Mrs. Tony Ritter, 69, of Lake Odessa, died at her home Thursday morning from a 
long time illness that began with a stroke and during her sickness she 
suffered two strokes and fell and broke her hip.  She leaves her husband and 
eight children, Mrs. George Hodges, Mrs. Fred Patterson, Harold Ritter and 
Forrest Ritter of Detroit; Mrs. Claude Teachout and Roy Ritter, of Lansing, 
and Bruce Ritter of Lake Odessa.  She also leaves the following brothers and 
sisters:  Mrs. Harvey DeHart and Mrs. Forest Chadwick, of Ionia; William 
Stanton of Orange; Mrs. Benjamin Peach, of New Mexico and Mrs. Al Green of 
Battle Creek.  Funeral services will be held Saturday but the time has not 
been set.
