Funeral at the Wortley Home Thursday Afternoon The body of Forrest "Jack" Ritter was brought to Lake Odessa by Wortley & Baine, undertakers, Wednesday and the funeral was held at the Wortley home Thursday afternoon. The Rev. Leon W. Manning officiated and Mrs. Manning and Mrs. William Tietz sand two numbers. Burial was at Lakeside. As the deceased was a World War Veteran, the funeral was a military one in charge of the LaVerne Demaray post of the American legion. The deceased spent his boyhood and early manhood in lake Odessa, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Ritter. He was given the name of "Jack" and was known by his companions by that name. He died from pulmonary embolism in Detroit on Tuesday where he has made his home for several years. He was unmarried.
