Lake Odessa Wave - July 6, 1950
ROY (DOC) RITTER DIES IN LANSING
   Roy (Doc) Ritter, 50 of Lansing, died at St. Lawrence hospital June 19 after a
long  illness.  He was born in 
Lake Odessa Jan. 16, 1900 but had resided in Lansing for the past 27 years, 25 of
which he had been 
employed by the Board of Water and Electric Lights Commissioners.
   Surviving are his wife, the former Bertha Sweet, a daughter Mrs. Harriett Morton
of Ann Arbor two 
grandchildren, two sisters Mr. Fred Patterson of Detroit and Mrs. Claud Teachout of
Lansing, two brothers 
Harold of Detroit and Floyd of Sunfield.  Burial was in Lakeside cemetery.
