                            MERCY E. RITTERSDORF

Funeral services for Mercy E. Rittersdorf, 83, of 932 James Street were held 
Monday at 11 a.m. at St.Joseph's Catholic Church. Father Charles E.Steves 
officiated with interment in St.Joseph Cemetery.

A rosary service was held Sunday evening at 8 p.m.. Arrangements were by Huffman 
Funeral Home.

Mrs.Rittersdorf, a lifetime resident, died Wednesday March 29. She was born May 
22, 1888 in Newaygo County. She was a member of St.Joseph's Church and a 
tertiary member of the Third Order of Carmelite of Grand Rapids.

She is survived by two sons, Carl Rittersdorf of Rockford and John Rittersdorf 
of Detroit; two sisters, Mrs.Blanche Waite of Grand Rapids and Mrs.Clara Squires 
of Kalamazoo; five grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
