Eunice Scheiern Ritz, 53, of Dallas, Texas, died March 18 at Sunset Manor in 
Dallas.  She was born October 3, 1933 in Berlin Township, the daughter of 
Wheeler and Mary Scheiern.

She was graduated from Ionia High School and Davenport Business College, Grand 
Rapids, and was long active in the insurance business in Dallas.  She was 
married to Kenneth Ritz of Ionia; the marriage ended in divorce.

She is survived by two sons, Kenneth Ritz Jr. and Stuart Ritz’ and two 
daughters, Mrs. Heinz (Rebeccah) Kugler and Mrs. L. M. (Lucy) Phelps, all of 
Dallas; four grandchildren; four step grandchildren; her mother, Mrs. Jack 
(Mary) Rudd; five sisters, Mrs. Karl ( Mary Klahn; Mrs. Allan (Ruth) Ingraham; 
Janet Lower; Elsie Voorheis and Irma Smith; and a brother, Harold Scheiern.  A 
brother, Joseph Scheiern, preceded her in death.

Burial will be in Laurel Oaks Cemetery, Dallas.  A memorial has been 
established in memory of Eunice Ritz at White Rock United Methodist Church, 
1450 Old Gate Lane, Dallas, Texas  75218.
