Ionia Sentinel Standard, 5 Feb 1992

Marguerite C. Rivett, 90, of Ionia, died on Saturday at the Ionia Manor.  She
was born on Jan. 28, 1902, in Lowell, the daughter of John C. and Margaret
Flower Davis.  She attended rural schools in Lowell and Ionia High School.  She
was confirmed in 1914 at the St. Johns Episcopal Church.  She retired in
February 1967 from the Vance Insurance Agency.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her
husband William in 1954, three brothers, and one sister.

Funeral mass will be 11 a.m. Friday from the St. Johns Episcopal Church, Ionia,
with the Rev. Scott Anderson officiating.  Organist will be Dorothy Clore. 
Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Roger Davis, Paul
Davis, Robert Rivett, John Rivett, Robert Wizorek, and Vern Warnes.  The family
will be at the Cook Funeral Home from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday.  A memorial has
been established for the St. Johns Episcopal Church Memorial Fund, in care of
the funeral home.
