Aug. 10, 1917 JOHN RIZOR IS CALLED BY DEATH John Rizor, one of Lake Odessa's most highly respected citizens, died at his home here Monday, following a long period of ill health. The funeral was held from the Congregational church Wednesday afternoon, Rev. Thos. Laity, pastor of the methodist church, preaching. The remains were interred in lakeside. Deceased had lived here since 1907, and was a member of the Methodist church. He leaves a widow, two daughters, Lucy Wade of Killbuck, O., and Mrs. C. J. Lull, of Flint; two brothers, D. J. Rizor of Hastings and Otha Rizor of Glenmont, Ohio., and one sister, Mrs. Samuel Yocum, of St. Johns, Kan. Those from away who attended the funeral were: D. J. Rizor and family of Hastings, Mrs.Herman Moor of Dowling, C. C. Busick and wife of Detroit, Mr. and Mrs. Reamer and Mr. and Mrs. Loren Mote of Clarksville.
