Ionia Sentinel Standard, 25 Apr 1990

Geneva Irene Rizzi, 71, of East Lansing, died April 24 after a lengthy illness.
 She retired from Minnesota Mutual Life Insurance Company in 1984.

She was preceded in death by her husband John P. Rizzi, and her parents, Frank
and Hazel Roberts.  She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Bernard (Bertha)
Hansknecht of Ionia; two nieces, Mrs. Robert (Valerie) Barker of Lansing and
Mrs. Elwin (Beverly) Hall of Ionia; and several great-nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at
the Gorsline-Runciman Lansing Chapel.  Graveside services will be Friday at 10
a.m. at Easton Cemetery, Ionia.  Pallbearers will be Paul Barker, Steve Barker,
Charles Meyers, Kevin Schaffer, Mark Schaffer and Douglas Schaffer.  Memorial
contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to the American Cancer Society or
to Roselawn Manor’s activities department.
