Ionia Sentinel Standard - 14 June 1965
Dr. John L Roatch, 75, of Ludden, N.D., died Saturday evening at the home of 
his sister, Mrs. Theron Gray.  Mr. and Mrs. Gray and Mr. and Mrs. Leo 
Bradstreet of Battle Creek went to North Dakota May 19 and brought their 
brother to Lyons.  He was a doctor of veterinary medicine and had been ill some 
time.  He was born in Calhoun county May 16, 1890 the son of Edward and Frances 
Roatch and had been a North Dakota resident 57 years.

Survivors in addition to the two sisters are two others, Mrs. Irene Wittings of 
Auburndale, Fla., and Mrs. Lillian LaGoo of Battle Creek.  Funeral service will 
be Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock at Farley funeral home, Battle Creek.  
Burial will be at Morgan cemetery, Leroy township, Calhoun county.  Local 
arrangements were made by Shaw-Rivett funeral home, Muir.
