Robbins, 51, of 179 Thatcher, Woodland, died Saturday morning at Pennock hospital in Hastings after an extended illness. She was born November 22, 1926 in Woodland, the daughter of Lloyd and Edna Tickner Towns and attended Woodland schools. She married Gerald Gonyou in 1924 and Harold Robbins in November 1957. Mr. Robbins preceded her in death December 23, 1974. Mrs. Robbins was a member of Kilpatrick church and was employed as a bookkeeper at the Town-Robbins body shop in Woodland and Art Meade Ford in lake Odessa. Survivors include two sons, William Gonyou of rural Freeport and Matthew Robbins of Woodland; one daughter Lori Gonyou of San Diego, California; her mother Mrs. Edna Towns of Woodland; two brothers Paul Towns of Woodland and Arnold Towns of Sarasota, Florida; her mother-in-law, Mrs. Maybelle Robbins of Lansing, three grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Services are Tuesday at 1:30 pm from the Pickens-Koops funeral home with Rev. George Speas officiating. Burial is in Woodland Memorial Park.
