The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Thursday, March 4, 1943

Amos J. Roberts, 71, died Thursday morning at 1:30 o’clock at the Ionia 
Community hospital where he had been a patient six weeks.  He was born January 
14, 1872 in Clinton county and lived his life on his farm in Ionia township.  

He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Delbert Myers and Mrs. Cynthia Frances, of 
Ionia.

Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Myers 
funeral home.  Rev. C. A. Brady, pastor of the Church of Christ, will 
officiate and burial will be in Highland Park cemetery.
