The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Saturday, September 25, 1954
Mrs. Rosa Roberts, 62, 1185 Yeomans street died Friday afternoon about 2:15 at 
the Ionia County Memorial Hospital where she had been a patient for two weeks.


She was born in North Shade township, Gratiot county, February 9, 1892, the 
daughter of James and Anna Price.  She was married to Ora Roberts September 5, 
1909, in Ithaca and they lived there until moving to Ionia in 1929.  Mr. 
Roberts died October 21, 1947.

Surviving are two sons, James and Ora Roberts, of Ionia; five grandchildren; 
one sister, Mrs. Olive Roberts of Lansing; one brother, Earl Price of Ft. 
Wayne, Indiana; two half-brothers, R. B. Canfield of Pontiac and Roy Canfield 
of Burney, Calif.

Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2 o’clock at Boynton funeral 
home with the Rev. W. W. Pixley officiating.  Interment will be in the family 
lot at Easton cemetery.
