Ionia Sentinel-Standard - Tues. Feb. 10,1987 

LARGO- Dolores (Dee) Roberts, 56, of Largo, Florida, formerly of Ionia, died 
Feb. 4 at Largo Medical Center.

She was born June 9, 1930 in Lowell, the daughter of Clarence and Rachel 
Colwell.

She married Ora Roberts on May 21, 1947.

She was formerly the owner of Dee's Beauty Shop of Ionia for many years before 
retiring. She moved to Florida with her husband four years ago from the Ionia 
area.

She was a member of the First Christian Church of Ionia.

Surviving are he husband, Ora; one son, Michael Roberta of Ionia; two 
daughters, Eva Mae Reynolds of Colorado Springs, Colo. and Terri Clark of 
Saranac; one brother, Ray Colwell of Clermont, Fla.; one half-sister,  Sandy 
Shaffer of Ionia; one half-brother, Clare Colwell of Ionia: one step-sister, 
Marion McKendry of Muir; one step-brother, Richard Benedict of Columbus, Ohio: 
six grandchildren.

Cremation has taken place in Florida.

Memorial services will be held Saturday at the First Christian Church of Ionia 
at 11 a.m.

The family requests no flowers or donations.
