Funeral service will be held Wednesday at Stebbins funeral home in Sheridan at 
2 o’clock for Floyd Roberts, 67, who died Sunday at his home on route two, 
Fenwick.

A veteran of World War I, he was born September 22, 1895, in Lyons, the son of 
Mr. and Mrs. Hiram J. Roberts.  He was a former employee of Ionia Manufacturing 
company, retiring in April 1961.

Surviving are his wife, the former Gladys Richards to whom he was married in 
1920; five sons, Stuart H. Roberts and Floyd Norton Roberts of Fenwick, S-Sgt. 
Ronald J. Roberts of Paris Island, S.C., Kenneth A. of Belding, and Phillip L. 
of Orleans; four daughters, Mrs. E. F. Bode and Mrs. Marilyn Webster of 
Warrington, Fla., Mrs. William Thiedeman of Argentia, Newfoundland, and 
Patricia at home; a sister, Mrs. Norman Rocheleau of Glasgow, Mont.

The Rev. L. G. Nicholson will officiate and military services will be conducted 
at Lyons cemetery by the Sheridan VFW Post.
