Portland Review & Observer - Feb. 26, 2012

Jerry Amos Roberts Sr., 80, passed away on Thursday, February 16, 2012 at the 
Koala Care Assisted Living Center in Mesa, Arizona. He was born on September 5, 
1931 in Sullivan, IL, to Clarence and Helen Roberts. He worked as a car 
salesman while living in Portland, Michigan and Mesa, Arizona, before retiring 
to spend more time on the golf course. He was a member of the US Air Force.

He is survived by his children, Linda Brooks-Roberts of Lowell, Cynthia Roberts 
of Washington, Jerry (Karen) Roberts of Portland, and Sharon (Garry) Patrick of 
Ionia; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; siblings, Marian (Wayne) Parr, 
Jim (Dolly) Roberts, Rhesa Cook Terry (Loretta) Roberts and Tim (Jackie) 
Roberts and numerous nieces and nephews.

As per his wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will occur 
this summer in Michigan.
