The body was removed to Winchel & Stone undertaking parlors Sunday evening and ____ to the home of his sister, Mrs. Walter Plummer, Monday evening. ___ services will be held from ____, 240 Yeomans street, Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock. The interment will take place in the Oak Hill Cemetery. Mr. Roberts was born in _____ and came to this vicinity as a child of seven and has lived the rest of his life in this vicinity. He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Plummer and Mrs. George Phillips, of Ionia, and two brothers Bert, of Stanton and Harry of Grand Rapids. He was a member of the Maccabees. ------------ The funeral services for Carey Roberts were held from the home of his sister, Mrs. Walter Plummer, Tuesday afternoon. These were in charge of Dr. Willard K. Spencer. Mrs. Blaine Laden took charge of the flowers and Mrs. R.A. Colwell and Mrs. Thane Benedict sang. The bearers were Bert and Harry Roberts, Verne and Otto Phillips, Charles Davis and John Klenk. The interment was in the Oak Hill cemetery. Those from out of town to attend the services were Mr. and Mrs. Otto Phillips, Detroit; Mr. and Mrs. Bert Roberts and Kenneth, of Stanton, Harry Roberts, Mr. and Mrs. Vern Phillips and Mrs. Guy Mungerson, of Grand Rapids.
