Ionia Sentinel Standard, 30 Mar 1990

Edith M. Roberts, 83, of Ionia, died March 28 at the Ionia County Memorial
Hospital.  She was born the daughter of Frank and Adah Mae (Ensing) Ward on Feb.
26, 1907 in Luther.  She retired from Peschke’s in Ionia.  She was a member of
the Ionia Moose Lodge #998.

Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Burl (Henrietta) Musser of Vestaburg, Ruth
Ann Luettjohann of Arizona, Mrs. William (Estalla) Jeffers of Sheridan, Mrs.
Carl (Ella Jean) Miller of Ionia and Mrs. Elijah (Joan) Ward of Ionia; 13
grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; one brother, Clifford Ward of Florida;
one half-sister, Eula of Ionia.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Elga,
one daughter Vivian, two brothers and two sisters.

Complete funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday from the Cook
Funeral Home in Ionia with the Rev. Kendall Harger from the Shiloh Community
Church officiating.  Burial will be in Easton Cemetery.  Visiting hours are
7-8:30 p.m. Friday at the Cook Funeral Home.
