W.W. Pixley officiating. Interment was in the family plot at Easton cemetery. Pallbearers were John Cherpes, Andrew Alexander, William D. Erridge Jr., John Morris Jr., James Roberts and Ora Roberts Jr. Among the relatives and friends who attended from away were Dick Christensen of Fenwick, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Mayhew and family of Chesaning, Mr. and Mrs. harry Hillard of Toledo, Ohio, Mr. and Mrs. Lou Roderick of Boyne City, Mrs. Keith Wagner of Charlevoix, Mrs. Gerald Chambers, Mrs. Howard Misner and Joan, Mr. and Mrs. James Misner, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Misner, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Schlienz, office employees of the State Highway Department in Lansing; Mr. and Mrs. Max Townsend and Mr. and Mrs. Howard Fletcher of Drayton Plains, Mr. and MMrs. William D. Erridge Sr., William Jr., and Sandra, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Clark, Gayle and Richard; Mr. and Mrs. Dale Townsend and Joy, Mrs. Ida Lockwood, Mr. and Mrs. L.O. Townsend, Mrs. Jack Ewers of Keego Harbor, Mrs. Mabel Fletcher; Frank, Claude and Kenneth Townsend, Mrs. Hectof Gee, Mrs. Francis Gee, Mrs. Louis Mason, Mr. and Mrs. Kyle Obery and Mr. and Mrs. John Cherpes of Muir. Funeral: Monday, 9 January, 1956 Easton cemetery #512 Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Boynton funeral home with the Rev. W.W. Pixley officiating. Interment will be at Easton cemetery. She was born January 2, 1935, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl e. Roberts, and graduated from the Ionia high school as Salutatorian in 1953. she attended University of Michigan for one year and for the past six months has been employed as secretary for the State Highway Department in Lansing and prior to that was employed as secretary in the State Liquor Commission office in Lansing. She was a member of the First Baptist church. Surviving are one son, Todd, 21 months; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Carl E. Roberts; one brother, Jerry; her grandparents, Mrs. Vern Roberts and Mr. and Mrs. Fred J. Townsend of Ionia. b. Jan. 2, 1935 dau. of Carl E.
