She was born in Woodland township March 2, 1883, the daughter of George and Mary (Schmidt) Neithamer and was married to George D. Roberts of Lake Odessa, March 2, 1904. Mr and Mrs Roberts were former owners and operators of Robert Cottages at Joran Lake and she was a lifelong resident of the area. Mr. Roberts passed away August 2, 1970. Mrs. Roberts was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church, the American Lutheran Christian Women of Woodland, a charter member of the United Methodist Women n the Lake Odessa Woman's Club of Lake Odessa. Surviving are three sons, Forrest of Alma, laverne of Lake Odessa and Roy of Nashville; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and one great-great- grandchild; two sisters, mrs Bertha flory of Woodland and Mrs Clara Rising of Hastings and one brother frank Neithamer of Woodland. Funeral services were held Tuesday at 1:30 at the Pickens-Koops Funeral Chapel. Rev. Randall Metz officiated with burial in Lakeside Cemetery. Contributions to the church memorial may be left at Pickens-Koops Chapel.
