Ionia Sentinel Standard, Sat., Sept. 23, 1989
IONIA - Eugene F. Roberts, 61, of 5772 Ainsworth Road, Ionia, died at 
Butterworth Hospital Friday morning.

He was born in Detroit, Jan 15, 1928, the son of Eugene and Hildred (Wright) 
Roberts.

He was a member of the Lions Club in Texas. He was past president and past vice-
president of the Morrison Lake Golf Course Senior Golf Club League.

He was a veteran of World War II.

He married Joy Rudd Sept. 6, 1955, in Detroit. She survives.

He is also survived by four sons; one daughter, one brother, one sister, his 
parents in law; nine grandchildren.

Arrangements by Lake Funeral Home Saranac. Memorial service at Berlin Center 
Methodist Church.
