Heart Attack Takes Irvin J. Roberts In Untimely Death

Irvin J. Roberts, 52, died in the city hospital Sunday evening having been 
admitted a few hours earlier following a heart attack at his home at 739 Morton 
Avenue.

He was born Jan. 20, 1897 in Chicago and was married to Luella Griffin of 
Newaygo, June 14, 1924. The family had lived in this city and at Orleans until a 
year ago when they moved to the present home and he was employed at Gibson 
Refrigerator plant.

Besides the widow, he leaves two sons, Irvin, Jr. of Camp Campbell, KY., who 
returned for his father's funeral, Gerald at home and three daughters, Virginia 
and Mable Jean at home and Betty Lou of Traverse City, his mother, MrsMinnie 
Robert and one sister,Mrs.Helen Bellush  of Bedford, Ind.

Funeral services were held Wednesday at 1 o'clock at the Fitzjohn Funeral Home, 
Rev.J.Ray Gillham officiating and burial was in River Ridge Cemetery.
