The Ionia Standard, Friday, February 26, 1897
Mrs. Ann E. Roberts was buried from the home of Howard A. Ranger, on Sunday 
last, without a family friend to mourn her loss.  She came to Lyons some weeks 
ago to spend a few days among acquaintances and attend to some business 
matters, and was taken sick while here.  Although not a relative was here 
during her sickness, she had the very best of care at the hands of kind 
neighbors who looked after her every want to the last, and who saw that she 
was quietly laid to her last long rest.
