The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Friday, December 2, 2005
Ora Roberts Jr. aged 79 of Saranac passed away December 1, 2005 in Grand 
Rapids. He was born May 30, 1926 in North Star, Michigan the son of Ora 
Roberts Sr. and Rose Hackner. He married Deolores Pearl Colwell May 20, 1947 
in Angola, Indiana who preceded him in death in 1987.

Ora served in the Air Force during WWII. He was a member of the Saranac Lions 
Club, Masonic Lodge of Ionia and Saranac American Legion.

He is survived by one son Michael Roberts of Ionia and two daughters Eva Mae 
(John) Reynolds of Colorado Springs and Terri (Roger) Clark of Saranac. Six 
grandchildren; Jason, Luke, Jessica, Jared, Aaron and Scott. 

Private Funeral services will be held at a later date. Anyone wishing may make 
memorial contributions to the Parkinson's Disease Foundation or Ionia Area 
Hospice. Arrangements by Lake Funeral Home in Saranac.
