The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Monday, March 9, 1925


Mrs. Lydia Roberts died at the home of her sister, Mrs. Hulda Strachn, in 
Muir, Sunday afternoon at 3 o’clock.  In the death of Mrs. Roberts North 
Plains loses another of its pioneers, for she had lived in the vicinity most 
of her life. 

She is survived by a son Warren, of Detroit; two daughters, Hazel, of Owosso, 
and Mollie, of Detroit.  Also three sisters, Mrs. William Dalzel, of North 
Plains; Mrs. Hulda Strachn and Mrs. Lucy Germain, both of Muir, and a brother, 
Charles Knight, of North Plains.
