Portland, Aug. 10-Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Neller 
funeral home for Peter Malcolm Robertson, 87, retired farmer who died in an 
Ionia convalescent home Monday after a year's illness. Rev. Hollis M. Tiffany 
of the Baptist church will officiate. Burial will be in Portland cemetery. He 
is survived by a son, Malcolm, of Portland, and a grandchild. 

Additional Comments:
Peter M. Robertson was born in Canada in 1867, he was the son of Emma 
Dunsmore and Alex Robertson, both were born in Scotland.
Peter married Elma Browning in Portland, MI on June 24, 1899.  Peter and his 
family lived on County Route 166, just north of Portland, it was known as 
Maynard rd. and then changed to Divine Hwy.
