Sentinel-Std. - Saturday, June 1, 1963

Laurence A. Robertson, 53, of 1400 East Riverside drive, died at 12:15 a.m. 
Saturday at Ionia County Memorial hospital. He had been ill since January.

He was born in Canada, September 7, 1909, and came to Detroit in 1920 with his 
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Norman Robertson and was graduated from Detroit high 
school in 1928.

Mrs. Robertson moved to a farm near Portland in 1940. November 19, 1958 he was 
married to Mary  Hermans and since their marriage had resided in Ionia. For the 
past 10 years he was employed at Mitchell-Bentley corporation.

He was a member of SS. Peter and Paul church.

Surviving are his wife, Mary, and a brother, William Robertson of Ionia.

Rosary will be recited at 7 o'clock Monday evening at Myers funeral home.

Funeral service will be Tuesday at SS. Peter and Paul church at 9:30 a.m. with 
burial at Mt. Olivet cemetery.
